In the context of the BORN Awards festival, Courchevel 1850 resort, the ESF 1850 (French ski association) and BORN have organized hand in hand a public event on January 1st entitled « 2013 Winter is BORN » to welcome the new 2013 winter.The celebration started at the bottom of ski slopes where the audience was able to take part in several interactive performances including DJ live mix, dancers, video jockey projection and special goodies distribution.It continued with the extraordinary torch-lit ski descent involving more than 350 ski instructors for a spectacular light show. On location, this sportive and festive event dazzled masses with more than 2000 persons gathered under the snow.
